We unleash the potential in people to find joy in work.

Our Services

  • Great people stay when they can see a future. At amp'd we help organisations build meaningful employee development plans that actually work. Our career planning programmes give your people the tools to figure out what's next, and our leaders programme gives your managers the skills to have real, meaningful performance and development conversations. The result? More engaged teams, stronger retention, and a culture where growth is built in.

  • When restructuring happens, how you support your people matters. amp'd provides expert support throughout the change process to help change-affected employees move forward with clarity and confidence. From group workshops to one-to-one career transition support, we help your people land well and protect your organisation's reputation in the process.

  • Our outplacement services are designed for organisations that want to do right by their people. Based in Auckland and working across New Zealand, amp'd careers delivers outplacement support that goes beyond the basics, helping individuals rebuild their confidence, get clarity, sharpen their job search, and step into what's next. It's job market readiness workshops and outplacement coaching with real heart behind it.

  • Figuring out what to do after school is tough. amp'd careers offers fun, practical career coaching for teenagers that helps them connect their strengths and interests to real study and work pathways. Our career planning programme gives young people a clear sense of direction, so they leave with a plan they're actually excited about, not just a list of options someone else chose for them.

Career Development Planning

For so many people and organisations, meaningful career development is a hard nut to crack. We think there are three flawed assumptions behind this;

  1. That people know what they want to do next.

  2. Managers understand the powerful influence they have on people’s career development - for good or bad!

  3. Managers know how to have meaningful development conversations.

We’ve created programmes to sort this stuff out!

Careers that Work is an innovative career development programme for organisations who want to lift and accelerate development planning for greater engagement and commitment.

And imagine how awesome it would be if all your leaders had meaningful and action oriented performance and development conversations with their teams?  Coaching for Performance and Development is a lite workshop programme that builds the skills and confidence in managers to do just that.

Two people sitting at a wooden table in a cafe, working together on a laptop. The woman, with short black hair, is pointing at the laptop screen and wearing a striped blue and white top. The man, with light brown hair, is looking at the laptop, wearing a light blue shirt. On the table are two coffee cups and a plate with a piece of cake. In the background, there is a clock on the wall and a cafe counter.

“This made one of the most daunting things, career planning, incredibly digestible while I learned a lot about myself as well. I liked the discussions with my colleagues to get their perspective on my proposed plan and learn how they approach life. Getting their POV was incredibly insightful."

— Armaan, Campaign Manager

Redundancy support

Whether it takes the form of workshops or one-to-one career coaching, we have programmes for organisations who want to offer the very best support for their change affected people, to help them design and prepare for their next move.

“I wish everyone who goes through redundancy has access to this amazing course. Awesome content delivered expertly with empathy."

— Jennifer, GM, primary sector business

Career advice for teenagers

Innovative and fun, our career planning programme helps teenagers visualise their ideal working life and figure out what’s next for them on their study or work journey.

“My son really enjoyed the programme and came away with clear direction of what he wants to study and do post school. Prior to this he was in a real muddle. This is pretty high praise for a guy who does the absolute minimum to get by!”

— mother of Year 13, St Peter’s College student
